Paul McCartney Fenway Park
Paul was highly energized and highly interactive with the crowd. This one definitely ranks up there so far. The only down swing was they chose tonight to really com down hard on cameras. And i'm not talking professional ones, at times they were warning people with very small point and shot cameras.
There was a decent breeze flowing through the field tonight and it was quite comfortable. "Michelle" was back out of the setlist. Many of the folks who were walking by my at the end were all blown away by how well Paul still gets the job done so well at his age. Many positive comments about the length,quality and energy of the show.
The MGMT who opened the show, did not sound all too impressive. The stories and setups were the same as usual . This show definitely set the bar high for show #2 tomorrow. I have the soundcheck package again so it will be very fun. I'll bring my smaller camera as I'm hoping things are not so tight.
Well it's short and sweet tonight and I will send whatever photos I can as myself and Podgy did not have our usual great night.
