The Color Purple
The Color Purple based on a 1982 Pulitzer Prize book by author Alice Walker. Made in to “Made for TV Movie Series” by that name, Operah had a leading role. Since then film, theatrical (2005), and radio (2008) adaptations have been popular. Now the Musical is on tour.
